Michael Wink教授，主要从事植物次生代谢产物代谢合成机制研究。曾任德国海德堡大学药学与分子生物技术研究所（IPMB）所长，担任《Heidelberger Jahrbücher》、《Journal of Ornithology》、《Biotechnology Journal》、《Diversity》、《Challenges》、《Phytomedicine》、《Turkish Journal of Zoology》、《Peer J》等期刊编辑，莱昂纳多VC投资委员会、海德堡DKFZ委员会成员，威廉港鸟类研究所、Senckenberg Verbund博物馆、SGN委员会、生物多样性与气候研究中心委员会科学顾问，意大利伽利略基金委员会顾问。2012年获World Owl Hall of Fame杰出成就奖，2012年成为马西利高级研究所研究员，2014年获国际扶轮社保罗·哈里斯奖章。公开发表研究成果一千余篇，H-index指数127。
